Don’t Confuse Emotions With Guidance

Jeremiah 17:9

"The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?"

Reflection

Emotions are real, but they’re not always reliable. Jeremiah reminds us the heart can deceive, which means you can feel “right” and still be wrong. If feelings become your compass, you’ll drift fast. The remnant submits feelings to truth. RUACH HAQODESH leads through the Word, conviction, peace, and wisdom—not mood swings. Feel it, yes. But don’t follow it blindly. Let Scripture interpret your emotions, not the other way around.

Prayer

YAHUAH, teach me discernment. RUACH HAQODESH, help me submit my emotions to Your Word and follow truth over feelings. In YAHUSHA's Name, amein.

Action Step

Before making a decision today, pause and ask: “Is this Scripture-led or emotion-led?” Adjust accordingly.
