Guarding Your Eyes in a Perverse Generation

Job 31:1

"I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?"

Reflection

In a generation where perversion is one scroll away, purity will not happen by accident. Job did not wait for temptation to slap him in the face—he made a covenant with his eyes. That is intentional, practical, and aggressive. Lust does not just live in what we watch; it lives in what we are willing to entertain in our thoughts. As men and women of YAH, we cannot flirt with what ruins our souls. Your eyes are gates. What you repeatedly watch, you eventually want; what you want, you eventually pursue. The RUACH HAQODESH is not just here to comfort you after you fall—He is here to empower you to walk differently.

Prayer

YAHUAH, I repent for every time I treated my eyes carelessly. Help me make a real covenant with my eyes today. RUACH HAQODESH, convict me quickly when I start to drift and give me strength to turn away from anything that defiles my heart.

Action Step

Set real boundaries for your eyes today: delete an app, unfollow an account, install accountability software, or move your device out of private spaces. Take one concrete step toward purity.
