Inner Healing & Identity
Healing from Father Wounds
Psalm 27:10
"When my father and my mother forsake me, then YAHUAH will take me up."
Reflection
Many walk around with invisible bruises from fathers who were absent, abusive, or emotionally shut down. Those wounds shape how we see authority, love, and even how we see YAHUAH. David knew the sting of rejection, but he also knew a deeper truth: YAHUAH Himself steps in where people failed.
He is not a distant Creator; He is a present Father who does not abandon His children. Healing does not mean pretending the pain was small; it means bringing it to the One who is big enough to carry it. You are not defined by who walked away. You are defined by the One who picked you up, called you His own, and refuses to drop you.
Prayer
YAHUAH, You see every father wound in my heart. I give You the memories, the anger, the disappointment, and the emptiness. Heal the places in me that still feel forsaken. Teach me to know You as ABBA, and rebuild my identity in Your love.
Action Step
Journal honestly about one wound from your earthly parents. Write a prayer over it, inviting YAHUAH into that memory and asking Him to rewrite the script in your heart.
