Humility & Pride

Humility in a Prideful Age

James 4:6

"Elohiym resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble."

Reflection

In a generation that celebrates self-promotion, YAHUAH openly resists the proud. Pride is not just loud arrogance; it is silent self-reliance. It shows up when we stop praying, stop listening, and start assuming we know better. Humility is not weakness; it is alignment. It acknowledges, "I cannot do this without You." Grace flows to the humble like water to the low places. If you are tired of striving in your own strength, the way forward is down—bowed before YAH.

Prayer

YAHUAH, search my heart for pride—seen and unseen. Break every confidence I have in my own wisdom, strength, and plans. Clothe me with humility and pour out fresh grace over my life.

Action Step

Intentionally ask for help or counsel in an area you usually try to control alone. Practice humility by inviting wisdom instead of pretending you have it all handled.
