Trials & Joy

Joy in the Middle of Trials

James 1:2-3

"My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience."

Reflection

Counting it all joy does not mean you enjoy the pain; it means you value the process. Trials reveal what your faith is really made of. When everything is smooth, you do not see the strength YAH has built in you. Pressure exposes both cracks and capacity. Patience is not passive waiting; it is steadfast endurance. When you choose joy in the middle of the test, you are declaring, "This will not break me; it will build me." YAHUAH does not waste trials—He uses them to grow you up.

Prayer

YAHUAH, You see every trial I am facing. Help me to see them through Your eyes. Instead of complaining, teach me to count it joy, trusting that You are working maturity and strength in me.

Action Step

Write down one current trial and list at least three ways YAHUAH could be using it to grow your character, faith, or dependency on Him.
