Marriage & Covenant

Marriage as Kingdom Covenant

Ephesians 5:25

"Husbands, love your wives, even as Mashiach also loved the assembly, and gave himself for it."

Reflection

Marriage is not just a romantic partnership; it is a covenant picture of YAHUSHA and His people. Husbands are not called to rule like tyrants or disconnect like cowards—they are commanded to love sacrificially. Mashiach did not love the assembly when she was perfect; He loved her toward transformation. For both husband and wife, marriage is a daily, humbling call to die to self. Covenant means "I am here to give, not just to get." Kingdom marriages do not copy toxic gender wars from social media—they model service, honor, and mutual submission under YAHUAH's order.

Prayer

YAHUAH, thank You for the gift and weight of marriage. Where I have been selfish, distant, or harsh, forgive me. Teach me to love in a way that reflects YAHUSHA's love—sacrificial, patient, and holy. Cover my marriage under Your covenant.

Action Step

Do one intentional act of selfless love for your spouse today that costs you time, comfort, or preference—without announcing it or expecting anything back.
