Humility & Correction

Pride Makes You Blind

Proverbs 16:18

"Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall."

Reflection

Pride doesn’t just make you loud—it makes you blind. It convinces you that you’re fine, that you’re right, that you don’t need correction. Then the fall comes “out of nowhere.” The remnant stays low on purpose. Humility keeps your ears open and your heart soft. Correction is a gift; it saves you from bigger pain later. If YAHUAH is correcting you, it’s proof He still cares about your future.

Prayer

YAHUAH, expose pride in me. RUACH HAQODESH, make me teachable and quick to repent, so I don’t fall from stubbornness. In YAHUSHA's Name, amein.

Action Step

Receive correction today without defending yourself. Say, “Thank you—I’m going to pray about that.”
