Discernment & End Times
Stay Sober, Stay Watchful
1 Peter 5:8
"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour."
Reflection
The enemy doesn’t devour who he can’t distract. “Be sober” isn’t just about substances—it’s about spiritual clarity. A foggy mind and a sloppy prayer life make you easy prey for temptation and deception.
Vigilance is a remnant lifestyle. We don’t live paranoid; we live prepared. Watchful believers don’t play with sin, don’t flirt with compromise, and don’t assume “it could never be me.” Staying sober means staying submitted, so your senses stay sharp.
Prayer
YAHUAH, keep me sober and watchful. RUACH HAQODESH, expose distractions and dullness in me, and restore alertness in prayer and obedience. In YAHUSHA's Name, amein.
Action Step
Remove one “spiritual sedative” today—something that makes you numb, careless, or drifting. Replace it with Scripture and prayer.
