Separation With Purpose
“Come out from among them, and be ye separate…” — 2 Qorin’tiym (2 Corinthians) 6:17
YAHUAH calls His people to:
- Separate from unclean practices
- Separate from idolatry and mixture
- Stay in the world but not of it
What “Come Out” Does Not Mean
- Hating people
- Thinking you’re better
- Cutting off every unbelieving family member
- Living bitter and paranoid
What It Really Looks Like
- Different standards in entertainment, sex, money, and speech
- Refusing to participate in celebrations that dishonor YAHUAH
- Saying no when others say yes
- Walking in love and conviction (Related: When Family Doesn\x27t Understand Your Set-Apart Walk). (Related: When Family Doesn\x27t Understand Your Set-Apart Walk).
How to Walk This Out
- Let the RUACH Highlight Where You Need Separation
- Make Quiet, Strong Decisions
- Explain With Grace When Asked
- Let Your Lifestyle Preach Before Your Lips Do
You’re not better— you’re bought.
Come out of what He’s calling you out of, so you can walk fully in what He’s calling you into.
