Dreams, Visions, and Testing the Spirit
People are dreaming and seeing more—but not every dream is from YAHUAH. This teaching helps you discern dreams, visions, and how to test the spirit.
YAHUAH Still Speaks in Dreams
From Yoseph to Daniel to Yoseph, the husband of Miryam, dreams and visions were part of heaven’s communication.
In the last days:
“Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams…” — Yoel (Joel) 2:28
But not every dream is a prophecy.
Sources of Dreams
- YAHUAH – correction, direction, warning, encouragement
- Your Soul – processing fears, desires, memories
- The Enemy – torment, deception, counterfeit guidance
Discernment is key. (Related: Words as Weapons: Why Language Matters in Warfare.) (Related: Words as Weapons: Why Language Matters in Warfare.)
How to Test a Dream or Vision
- Does It Agree With Scripture?
- What Fruit Does It Produce? – fear, confusion, pride vs repentance and clarity
- Does It Exalt YAHUAH and YAHUSHA or You?
- What Does the RUACH HAQODESH Witness in You?
Practical Stewardship
- Write dreams down
- Pray over them
- Seek confirmation, not obsession
- Don’t build major life decisions on one unclear dream
The Remnant and Revelation
YAHUAH will use dreams and visions, but He’ll never contradict His Word.
Love the Giver more than the gifts. Test the spirit. Walk in truth.
