The Lion and the Lamb: Misunderstood Messiah
Many embrace a soft, sanitized Messiah or a harsh, loveless one. This teaching presents YAHUSHA as both the Lamb slain and the Lion of Yahudah.
Two Pictures, One King
YAHUSHA is:
- The Lamb of Elohiym who takes away sin
- The Lion of the tribe of Yahudah who judges and reigns
Culture often picks one:
- Only Lamb – soft, non-confrontational “Jesus”
- Only Lion – harsh, angry, no compassion
Scripture keeps both. (Related: Mark of the Beast vs Seal of YAHUAH.)
The Lamb: Mercy, Sacrifice, Humility
- Born in humility
- Lived sinless
- Died willingly
- Forgave His enemies
The Lamb reveals YAHUAH’s mercy and love.
The Lion: Authority, Judgment, Kingship
- Returns with fire in His eyes
- Judges wickedness and systems
- Rules with a rod of iron
The Lion reveals YAHUAH’s holiness and justice.
Why We Need Both
Only Lamb = no fear of YAHUAH, cheap grace. Only Lion = no intimacy, only terror.
The remnant:
- Runs to Him as Lamb
- Bows before Him as Lion
Responding to the Real YAHUSHA
- Receive His sacrifice
- Obey His commands
- Honor His Kingship
- Long for His return
Don’t settle for a Messiah made in culture’s image. Follow the Lion-Lamb King revealed in Scripture.
