Spring Feast (fulfilled in YAHUSHA) · Fulfilled in YAHUSHA HAMASHIACH
Passover (Pesach)
The Lamb was slain on the Father's appointed day.
Hebrew: פֶּסַח · Pesach · 14th day of the first month (Aviv/Nisan)
Passover is not a cultural memory — it is the night YAHUAH commanded Israel to mark their doorposts with the blood of a spotless lamb so judgment would pass over. YAHUSHA HAMASHIACH, the begotten Son of YAHUAH, fulfilled this Feast in His death on the exact day of Pesach.
What This Feast Is
Passover (Pesach) opens the Spring Feasts. A set-apart assembly on the 14th of Aviv. Families eat the lamb, unleavened bread, and bitter herbs — memorializing deliverance from Egypt and pointing to the greater Lamb who takes away the sin of the world.
How YAHUSHA Fulfilled It
YAHUSHA died as our Passover Lamb (1 Corinthians 5:7). His blood covers those who trust Him; judgment passes over the house marked by His blood. The Father fulfilled Pesach through His Son with prophetic precision.
How the Remnant Observes It
Read Exodus 12 and Leviticus 23. Gather in covenant community. Proclaim YAHUSHA as the Lamb. Remove leaven from your home as Unleavened Bread begins. Teach your children why the night matters.
Why It Matters
If the Spring Feasts are the Father's timeline of redemption, Passover is the hinge — death of the Lamb, deliverance of the people. The remnant keeps Pesach because the Father commanded it and the Son fulfilled it.
Key Scriptures
- Exodus 12:1-14 — The first Passover command
- Leviticus 23:5 — Pesach as an appointed time

Frequently Asked Questions
Did YAHUSHA die on Passover?
Scripture presents YAHUSHA HAMASHIACH as the Passover Lamb sacrificed for us (1 Corinthians 5:7). The Synoptic accounts place His crucifixion at Passover season. The remnant honors the Father's calendar and the Son's fulfillment on the appointed time.
Do believers still keep Passover?
Fulfillment does not cancel memorial. The Father called the moedim eternal statutes (Leviticus 23). The remnant keeps Passover as covenant remembrance of YAHUSHA's death until He comes.
Is Passover only for Jewish people?
Leviticus 23 calls them the Feasts of YAHUAH. The stranger who sojourns with Israel is included. All who walk in covenant with YAHUAH keep His appointed times.
