Trumpets (Yom Teruah)

Yom Teruah is a Sabbath of rest, a memorial of blowing trumpets — a wake-up call at the head of the Fall Feasts. Scripture ties YAHUSHA's return to the sound of the trumpet. Every fall the remnant rehearses the sound they will one day recognize.
What This Feast Is
The first day of the seventh month. No work. A set-apart convocation marked by the blast of the shofar (Leviticus 23:24-25, Numbers 29:1).
Prophetic Fulfillment Ahead
Still awaiting full fulfillment at YAHUSHA's return — gathering of the elect, resurrection of the dead in MASHIACH (Matthew 24:31, 1 Thessalonians 4:16, Revelation 11:15).

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Yom Teruah the Jewish New Year?
Rosh Hashanah is a later tradition name. Scripture calls it Yom Teruah — a day of trumpets, not a generic civil new year party.
Has this Feast been fulfilled yet?
The ultimate trumpet gathering at YAHUSHA's return is still future. We rehearse it each year until the Father sounds the real blast.
Why blow a shofar?
The trumpet is the audible command to awaken, assemble, and prepare for battle and for meeting YAHUAH — a physical act of obedience and reminder.
